Sliders are a great product to use when you erg. They simulate rowing on the water and they can change the way you train on the erg. The trouble is, what do you do with your sliders when you aren’t using them? Sliders take up a lot of real estate, they aren’t exactly light, and everyone has tripped on one at least once.
Jeremy Serkin shared with us how UVA addressed this problem with a very simple solution… folding chair racks.
UVA rowers were tired of stubbing their toes on their sliders. Additionally, they constantly had to move and store 48 sliders, which weigh roughly 1,300lbs. To solve this inconvenience, they utilized three abandoned folding chair racks.
Now their sliders are easy to transport, organize, and they are safe to move with one beautiful and simple solution!
